It seems that all of a sudden I'm hearing about Canon Digital Photo Professional 4 (DPP4). Adobe cs6 keygen. It is free and looks like it does much of what my Lightroom does. Since it comes free with the camera I automatically dismissed it. Was I wrong to do so? Is it worth putting DPP4 into my photography bag of tricks? Will Lightroom do everything DPP4 does, and maybe do it better?

I've been using it for quite a while. Had the initial reaction that you did (if it's free, it must not be a good program), but it has some features I like seeing the active AF point and color control. I have heard it also does a better job with Canon RAW files as far as color and noise. But I never 'finish' an important image in DPP4; always bring it into photoshop for final processing. I followed much the same process, doing a RAW conversion to 16-bit TIFF from DPPv4 to LR where the edit would be 90% complete in DPP but needed finishing in LR.
